Charles Zhenzhong Zhang is a bilingual director of photography and a Cinematography Fellow of the 2025 Golden Horse Film Academy. A graduate of the London Film School, he works across independent film, fashion, and commercials, shooting on digital, 16mm, and 35mm. His work as director of photography has screened at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival and Pingyao International Film Festival, and been longlisted for the BAFTA Student Awards; additional credits as gaffer include back-to-back Aputure Best Lighting Award at The One Women's International Film Festival. He shapes each film's visual language in close dialogue with the director, drawing on space, emotion, and rhythm.
